print series:
six patterns for everyday spaces
Right now, I am in the middle of making a set of six silkscreen
prints about the architecture of everyday spaces: the organization,
dimension, and structure of the ordinary places where we live.
This printing/architecture project is supported by subscriptions:
subscribers receive six prints over the course of the year.
The prints are totally behind schedule, but they are complex & awesome!
Here are some images of the first print in progress, some more images here —
they're just details (the print is large: about 18" by 30"), but it might
spoil it if you want it to be a total surprise...
more subscription information:
There are four prices for the subscription: you choose which
one you pay, based on your determination of what you can afford,
or simply what you want to pay. Every subscription is the same,
no matter what you decide to pay.
you get six prints:
$21 each: $126 (Providence, Worcester, and Boston only!)
$26 each: $156
$32 each: $192
$38 each: $228
The reason for having different prices is so that people who want the prints
can have them at an inexpensive price, while people who want to offer increased
support to this project can do so.
If you don't have a lot of money to spend on art, then subscribe at one of the
lower prices. (I will be delivering the local prints, to avoid shipping costs.)
If you have a job that pays you bundles of money, or if you feel that art is
really valuable to your life, or you really like the idea of people subscribing
to other people's creative endeavors to support to the development of new
ideas outside of an institutionally- or governmentally-financed context,
then subscribe at one of the higher prices.
If you would like to propose a different price, payments in installments, or an
interesting trade, let me know!
