Fight To Save Eagle Square
This poster was made to try and raise awareness about mill buildings in Olneyville that were threatened with demolition in 2000-2001. When I first got involved in activism surrounding the development of Eagle Square, I was thinking mainly about the buildings and the possibilities they offered. I soon became aware that the issues encompassed much more than simple "preservation" — local economy, small industry, marginal existences were (and still are!) at stake.
