(sorry, these are all gone!)

The colors in the rainbow roll here have different variations & swirls in each print, that’s part of it. :) It’s an open edition but there aren’t many left of the first printing; when I re-print it it will be in different colors. If you like the purple/pink/gold/orange version shown here, grab it now!

Here are the two other colorways that I printed in winter 2012: tan-gray-red, and blue-silver-green.

This print was made as part of the “This Is An Emergency!” print portfolio curated by Meredith Stern in spring & summer of 2012. This is what I wrote to accompany it:

“This print was called into being by reading Normal Life by Dean Spade, Black Sexual Politics by Patricia Hill Collins, Disidentifications by José Esteban Muñoz, and reading Tumblr: especially that of “feral-femme” and “calloutqueen.”* I’m pushing towards making things that are personal and political at the same time. I’m also working on writing and articulating the ways various forms of oppression are insidious and linked and comprehending the forms in which resistance is present. This is an attempt in that direction.”

* For more context / appreciation of calloutqueen & her crucial importance, please read this essay!
