These prints were made as explained here; except that while I was in the middle of the process, my housemate Cassie came in, looked at the transparencies made of rubylith (red) and cut-out photocopies of security envelope insides (black), and said, "hey, it looks like the city's on fire!" So my initial intention to make a nice, pretty, sunny-day Providence print was inverted into this celebration of sodium skies, pollution, revolt, and unrest.


And yes, these prints have totally edged out the nice blue ones in their popularity....
